Gable (UK) Ltd approached GRP Building Products to supply a lightweight solution for the refurbishment of Eastleigh Train Station.

Our specialist team created slate effect cladding for the footbridge roof, lift shaft roof and dormer flashings, as well as lead effect flashings for finishing.

During a development at the University of Sheffield in 2008, GRP Building Products was commissioned to overcome issues surrounding weight bearing and colour matching of rendering. GRP used the latest methods to colour match existing rendering, then applied the finish to fibreglass replicas of stone facades. These could then be easily installed to the new build structures.

GRP Building Products were approached to supply bespoke tyrolean render chimneys and pots, grp cappings and wall copings for this special development in Plymouth, offering a labour-saving, lightweight solution to the developers.

GRP Building Products was commissioned to produce a lightweight cover to mask a large metal extraction flue installed on the side of a church building. This was a new concept to the architect and contractor and GRP Building Products worked closely with them to provide guidance and technical assistance.

The grp brick effect cover was matched to the existing brickwork and has provided an acceptable solution to Planners.

The cover was supplied in sections and fitted onto a metal frame around the flue. The client selected to fix the flue cover onto the frame using a tek screw system. Some sections of the cover are easily removal to allow for maintenance of the flue.

GRP Building Products Ltd have designed a pioneering solution which provides an alternative to a wooden fence and a cheaper option to building a brick wall.

The Easi-Wall system is made up of brick effect fibreglass panels and post covers.  The system is deliberately designed around the standard garden concrete fence post, making it easy to install and at the fraction of the cost of building a brick wall. The panels are totally waterproof and maintenance free.

The customer was unable to build a brick wall due to a tree preservation order, so the Easi-Wall system provided the perfect solution.
